I’m far too long in the tooth to take Party Conference speeches with anything other than a biggish pinch of salt but I thought Burnham’s today was pretty good – relatively speaking – and promising at least.
The ‘triple lock’ to be reduced to a ‘double lock’ with savings invested in a nascent National Care Service: thumbs up from this OAP.
Some sort of PR to replace FPTP: thumbs up once again.
Time to forget Burnham’s somewhat dubious method by which he rose to the top and wish him well methinks.
The alternative stinks.
