Sorry to hear about Marjorie’s new problem Graham. Falls are such a nightmare as we get older. I went to Spittal promenade today to try out my charity shop granny walker to see if it helped me walk better ( I need a new knee but my house is a total trip hazard and I don’t have a walk in shower etc). I honestly can’t believe I’m using a rollator! I’ve been waiting for a follow up appointment with my consultant; when I phoned up a few weeks ago as the appointment was months overdue they said ‘ oh he retired at Christmas and we haven’t replaced him yet’. And yet we’ve had a couple of family emergencies recently and they’ve been excellent.
