The point I was making, which was handily included in the rest of the selectively quoted sentence, is that when it suits some commentators they include pensions in the overall benefits bill to make the numbers sound worse but when it comes to cuts for example suddenly they are separate again.
As for these public sector pensions that you seem so envious of, there is of course one very simple way of getting one. Out of interest how much money has been spent bailing them out?
