Sure it was more than twice! No doubt the free tickets had an impact but chances are that it will have resulted in more repeat visits than other initiatives like “after racing” bands etc. I reckon all of those who got in for free today had a great day out & actually enjoyed the quality racing. Many will be back. He ought to have highlighted it to encourage more of the same.
