I havn’t spotted any update on how Xavier Bergeron is recovering from his recent horror fall in Vichy but Paris Turf is reporting of another of his compatriots in the wars – Florent Geroux in Churchill Downs – Flip Flop Freak broke a front leg leaving the jockey with broken ribs, fractured vertebrae and lacerated kidney. Looks to me like our jockeys have been lucky in recent times!
