I couldn’t cope with watching a plane land! My son and his family flew back from Kos on Saturday morning. I was watching flight arrivals and all the other flights said landed but my son’s plane was saying expected 2.25 and, by 3am still hadn’t said ‘ landed’. Thankfully he messaged me to say they had landed 15 minutes late but I was starting to panic. Mind you I’ll never forget landing at East Midlands once. We must have been above the cloud line and suddenly we were below it and it was as if someone had switched on the lights of the whole world. It was amazing.Then again was flying over the Alps once and were so low I felt that I could see inside peoples houses. After that I always had an aisle seat and read a book. Window seats are not for me!
