Gladiateur, you miss my point completely in your constant envy of anybody with money or perceived to have money.
Please read it again, noting the words…….
“living beyond their means”.
That applies to rich, poor and anybody in between.
If people are feeling hardship with expenses rising, then the logical approach would be to cut back on unnecessary expenses………or if that’s not possible, stop complaining.
In my opinion, eating at gourmet burger joints, eating out at restaurants, ordering take-out deliveries and ready made meals would be the place to start.
If finances are tight, then simply continuing as though nothing is happening only makes the situation worse. The cutbacks don’t have to last forever, but people seem to be reluctant to make any changes to their lifestyle or material assets at all.
If it’s a choice between my electricity bill or an Uber delivered pizza, then it’s my electricity bill every time.
I can make my own bloody pizza, OR, I can order one to be delivered if and when I can afford to do so.
