I accept he is injured. I just wonder if they might have tried to get him back if he still had something to prove – but he doesn’t. And I doubt he would stay 10 furlongs.
I suppose he reminds me of Kingman. He was another brilliant three year old colt over a mile with a career cut short by injury but again he had nothing left to prove. He had beaten older horses and had no chance of staying further.
