Much excitement in these parts following the news that several Sam Smith’s pubs have reopened – or are about to – notably the brewery tap in Tadcaster, the Angel and White Horse and the distinctive mid-terrace Wellington in York.
Not been in the Peveril of the Peak but have been in Sam’s Chop House and its sister Chop House whose name escapes me. Both fine pubs and had a photo taken with the bronze statue of LS Lowry in Sam’s, as I’m sure a multitude of others have too.
