I don’t get the rules of Racing any more. Why reduce it to just ten days when it was originally thought to be a 28-day offence? Well, and how about getting rid of the incompetent Sandown Stewards, if they get it that wrong?
There was also a Brazilian jockey who got 22 days for hitting his horse eight times in total (that’s two above the limit) in a Class 1 contest at Goodwodd last week.
First of all, why does this require a much harsher penalty and why is there a difference between a Class 6 and Class 1 race? A whip offence is a whip offence…..And easing down is far worse than just two strokes above the permitted level.
