Clearing Cache via Browser Settings
This method allows you to specifically target cached images and files while preserving other data like history or cookies if desired.
Open the Samsung Internet app on your device.
Tap the Menu icon (three horizontal lines) located in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Select Settings from the menu that appears.
Tap on Personal browsing data (on some versions, this may be labeled as Privacy).
Select Delete browsing data.
Ensure the box for Cached images and files is checked. You may uncheck other options like “Cookies and site data” or “Browsing history” if you wish to keep them.
Tap Delete data at the bottom of the screen.
Confirm the action by tapping Delete in the pop-up prompt.
Method 2: Clearing Cache via Phone Settings
Use this method if you cannot open the browser or prefer managing app storage globally.
Open the Settings app on your Samsung phone.
Scroll down and tap on Apps.
Find and select Samsung Internet from the list of applications.
Tap on Storage.
Tap the Clear cache button at the bottom right.
N.B. Do not tap “Clear storage” or “Clear data” unless you intend to reset the entire browser, which will log you out of websites and remove settings.
