A great little warrior; agree he might have won a Champion Hurdle but for Willie protecting The Fly (tho Annie Powere would definitely have hosed up that year). Sometimes his jumping could be a bit hesitant, but on his day he was spectacular. Think he occasionaly underperformed at Cheltenham, thinking of his defats by Sprinter sacre and Balko de Flos.
His second to Altior in the Tingle Greek was typical, probably on the wane by then, he jumped superbly and fought all the way to the line.
