It’ll be interesting to see which way they go with the winner. Dad didn’t really want further than this, her half-sister Magic Wand didn’t either and she looked all out there today having got to the front snug enough. Trouble is they don’t appear to have anything from the Oaks to hang their hat on over the mile and half trip for the girls and Minnue Hauk…. her next run could be quite telling because if she runs like she did in the Tatersalls Gold Cup then retirement could be on the cards.
