Not the prettiest of Derby’s but he was very impressive. Now he has to prove he really was the best horse and make further progress in Group company this year.
I’ve been having nightmares about Benvenuto Cellini getting his leg stuck in the stalls, not because I lost 25p on the £ on my winnings but because he could have broken his leg if his leg had been wedged tight when the stalls opened. I’m just happy he’s ok but it seemed crazy to deem him a non runner, took a bit of the sparkle off the race.
