Presumably the BHA should know where it finished although I wouldn’t bank on it.
It is withdrawn on their website and there was only 13 finishers in the race. Looks like the owners of BC have to forfeit the 10,000 prize money for finishing 10th but will they get a refund of entry fees? Can’t do the stallion prospects any harm though.
Could have been worse, if he’d finished 2nd, 3rd or 4th they would have had to forfeit 130, 200 or 400 grand after being retrospectively withdrawn.
