Is there a reason they couldn’t broadcast from the actual track? They had plenty of notice and I know it’s a bit further north than Haydock, no different to going up to Newcastle, Ayr or Musselburgh. As an aside could this meeting move permanently to Carlisle? Haydock doesn’t need to race 2 Saturdays in a row and despite a Grp 3 on the card it wasn’t the most prestigious of cards, could JCR mix things up a bit?
