After I contacted them, I received the exact same reply as Betlarge’s message on 23rd May 08:44.

Also within the response was this video:

From that, I went back to them with this:

All I heard was a lot of spiel in the video, but the plain truth is the poor experience now.

A horse does not have to have it’s name in a font size four times bigger than the surrounding text?

And the gaps between each horse, what a sheer waste there is much less information on these pages than there used to be, and therefore even more clicks are required to get where you want.

Did yourselves even run these changes by users before you went live?

It might look how you want it, but the important bit is your customer base the user, because in this world it does not take long to find another source and people can leave in droves before you know it.

Personally, the new format has put me off looking at fields to place a bet, it’s that unuser friendly and ugly to what was there before.

At the very least make all font sizes much the same.

From that I received the following response which has been our last exchange:

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on the new racecards. We appreciate that changes to a product many customers use every day can take some getting used to, and we understand that some aspects of the new experience have caused frustration.

Since launch, we’ve been listening closely to customer feedback and have already made a number of improvements and fixes based on the issues raised. We know there is still more work to do, and our product and development teams will continue refining the racecards to ensure they work better for all users — from casual fans to experienced form students.

Customer feedback plays a hugely important role in how we evolve the Racing Post experience, and we’re committed to continuing to listen, learn and improve the product over time.

Thank you again for your support and feedback.

My word if they have already made changes apparently to the new format, just what state was it on when it first went live as it’s still unusable now!
