They’re all so different and special in their own way. I don’t think people realise what a posh place Southwell is. I’d love to live there but it does flood quite badly. Longchamp was the best value. Mike was going to take me to the Melbourne Cup one year but our dog was getting old and I wasn’t prepared to leave her in kennels for several weeks. We’ve got a lockdown dog now that can’t be left home alone so the only track we go to is Kelso because it’s so dog friendly. My least favourite was Chepstow, didn’t like the lay out of the place especially the pre parade ring which is usually my go to place on a racetrack. Worst place for finding winners was Punchestown and that hasn’t changed in the intervening years.
