Nathan I can highly recommend an upgrade on the standard entry ticket at Bath to the bar on the 2nd floor of the hospitality stand. The name escapes me but it’s a great view of the course and the final half furlong.
A few beers in the main square and a meal in the giggling squid Thai restaurant will help you and your lad enjoy a lovely little night whenever you go! I’m actually going with my family for the end of July Friday night meeting.
