Well I’ve had a crash course in politics over the weekend. I’m horrified to find that my father in law and also a close friend both voted Reform ‘because they’ll stop the boats’. When I asked how, they couldn’t tell me, just that ‘they will’.
I knew my father in law was racist, but didn’t have an inkling about my friend,who apparently ‘knew I wouldn’t like it’.
Richard Stupid Tice actually said Net Stupid Zero and I’m beyond appalled that the people in this country think it’s a good thing to have people of his ilk in power. And I know from our last local elections, we didn’t have them this time, that our Reform candidate was even worse. Could barely string a sentence together, but what he did say was loud. My heart has sunk to my boots.
