I’d certainly be fine with that CAS. Fair play to ITV for employing more female presenters but the disparity is clear for all to see. Male presenters: high profile champion/Grand National/Cheltenham Gold Cup/classic winning jockeys (though an impressive racing career doesn’t necessarily make a good TV presenter, as we’ve seen). Female presenters: young (mainly) blond women who are relatives of male high-achieving jockeys or trainers, some with amateur low-grade race-riding experience. Hayley Turner being the exception. Some have done OK. Megan was awful at first but has grown into the role and is now one of their better presenters & Adele isn’t the worst they have but, for all ITV execs think this promotes diversity in racing, it actually highlights the lack of it.
