I honestly don’t think he’d complete once. He’s a tank and just runs straight through a lot of the fences nowadays. He keeps his back end pretty low which prevents falling but there’s no way any horse gets away with that in the old race.
Kitty’s Light was a huge antepost fancy for me a couple of years back but in the end, he was no match for the Gold Cup horses. I think he’d have won that year if it was run under the old conditions.
