What a National Horse I Am Maximus is. If he hadn’t missed his prep last season, he’d be a 3 time winner. He hit so many fences today which made the win all the more impressive.
I’m gutted though. Who knows what would’ve happened had James Bowen not made an absolute bollocks of the final fence. Was on at 133/1 and roaring him on like crazy lol.
Also, while I’d never wish it on people who’d backed him. I was absolutely delighted to see that big fool Patrick on the deck at the first. They totally deserved that for taking the ride off Hayes.
