Brexit was based on lies and misinformation. Most of the people behind it have been discredited. Johnson, Bannon, Cummings, not forgetting Trump mini me Farage.The country is still suffering economically from it albeit still being theelephantintheroom. I didn’t accept it at the time and I’m just as angry now. It divided this country and caused nastiness and unpleasantness in a way I’ve never known before. What would I do if the far right got into power? I guess I’ll be too old to campaign against it but I would die realising I’d wasted my whole political life trying to make this country a better place for my children and grandchildren and failing miserably. Much as I’d miss them I hope that they would emigrate but they won’t because they have too many personal ties to this country.
