I have racing radio on which is ahead of the tv coverage so I can turn away if they say a horse has fallen but I, too, saw it out of the corner of my eye. He was having a great time bowling away in front. Most of Mullins horses tend to blend into each other with me but Energumine is an old favourite and I was so pleased to see him win and hoped they’d announce his retirement. Poor Saint Sam’s fall took away any delight from seeing him win. There have been some horrific falls in Ireland over the past few days but I haven’t heard what the outcome ones were.
