I find that price disparity surprising. Yes, Southend are higher up the non league structure and are understandably favourites. But should Southport really be as big as almost 4/1 to win a one off match at home against another non league team?
Based on our current form and their rather indifferent form, I don’t believe the price disparity should be as large. Especially with home advantage and a large crowd cheering us on.
The 19/5 has had to be taken, with a small amount also thrown at Southport to win both halves at 18/1.
