I had that thought earlier. Maybe a 12 furlong Flat race is not as arduous as a 2 mile hurdle race but assuming he runs at Newbury, he can’t have had 3 runs so close together before.
He did the job well enough tonight but I am not convinced he is up to Group 3 standard.
