While seeing the names of deceased horses in this thread week after week, it’s routine to bless and respect them without making a post.
Sometimes, there are names of more popular horses who need a mention to remind how much pleasure they gave us during their wonderful careers.
Rarely, a name will prematurely appear here like a large crack in glass…
Seeing Sir Gino’s name here hits hard. Haven’t felt this bad for a horse since St Nicholas Abbey passed away 12 years ago. My heart goes out to all connections to him. Utterly heartbreaking.
Sir Gino was one of the most talented horses I’ve ever seen. The perfect package. Slick jumper of fences and hurdles. Great temperament. Smart turn of foot. Won races in cruise control. In an alternative world, he’d have been one of the greats.
God bless his wonderful soul!
