I think considering it was a slower run race and he was not well placed on the inside, he would have learned more tonight sbout flat racing than he did at Southwell – RTV stated he broke 12s for each of the last 3F so he clearly has speed but he would have preferred a stronger early gallop.
Hopefully he will get that going back on the turf at Newbury and that race will most likely tell us all a whole lot more as to where he will fit going forward – lets just hope he can stand up to the strain of running so often (something he was never used to doing over hurdles) ![]()
Hendo missed a few words off that statement, it should have said “he is the best non hurdling hurdler in the country”
