Anyone might think they had already made up their minds.
Of course, it is interesting to note that Jane Dodds draws attention to betting. That is what she and her allies really don’t like. If they genuinely cared about animal welfare, they would be focused on far more urgent concerns than banning one greyhound track.
It reminds me of when Kevin Blake was on a news programme with someone from Animal Rebellion after the Grand National. The latter kept whining on about people betting on horses. Eventually Blake put it to him that it was the betting rather than the so called “cruelty” he didn’t like, which he hotly denied.
He also laughably claimed to have spent time in various racing stables in the north of England but couldn’t name a single trainer when pressed by Blake.
