In fact, the mismanagement of the economy goes all the way back to 1979, when Thatcher became prime minister and imposed the neoliberal agenda on the nation. New Labour (note the fact that they used “New” to differentiate themselves from true Labour) continued the downhill run, and then Cameron and Osborne imposed austerity on the public – making the poor pay for the mistakes of the rich.
Anyone who still votes Conservative/Reform after the last 45 years is stupid, selfish or both.
