There are some very bad racing accounts on Twitter (looking at YOU MyRacingTips/GetYourTipsOut), but there are also a whole lot of good ones.
Who is good value for a follow?
I’ll get the ball rolling with these:
AntepostBallot (@BallotedOut) – Bookmaker refusing to give your money back on a horse who was balloted out? All ballot information posted here.
Ragey Gamblers (@SeethingPunters) – Shaming all those who tweet abuse at jockeys, wish death on horses etc after losing bets
Jay (@mufc_fan_saf) – Good judge, particularly on French racing. Often seems to get first word on new recruits for the jumps game, long-term injuries and jockey news.
Sean (@seandw14) – See for yourself.
Will Hoffman (@StopwatchRacing) – Sectional-based punter, puts up a few selections per day with write-ups, commissioned by Betfair Racing. Don’t always agree with his interpretation of data or his evening rants (seems have it in for Luke Morris!) but well worth the follow on balance. Hope he makes it.
Rhys Williams (@Rhys_N_Williams) – Unbelievable judge, particularly on French racing, PTPs and low-grade racing. Puts up a few selections per week and must be absolutely crushing the game.
Wind Operations (@WindOps) – Wind oops are very important to for punters to know about. This account tries to spread awareness of horses who have had them.
Antepost Punter (@AntepostPunter) – Publishes final fields, initial entries and 5 day decs before they hit the RP and ATR sites.
Maddy P (@mp_horseracing) – The Racing Post’s current intern, as seen on the Postcast. A confident and extremely knowledgeable young lady. The future!
