Dont Hesitate, the 4yo ran eight times in France for Francois Doumen, all of which were AQPS flat races. She won on two occasions.
The 4yo has now moved to Mullins. This was her last race which she was the joint winner in a G3 AQPS race (deadheat).
Willie Mullins has a new French recruit in the mare Dont Hesitate. This was her last race winning a photo. She was trained by Francois Doumen
Her last race turned into a sprint finish which suited her. Her best results in FR came when she raced < 3000m. Suited to shorter distance.
Next is Empreinte Reconce, the 3yo filly is the French NH recruit I’m most looking forward to seeing over these shores.Could be a bit special
Empreinte Reconce ran just once in FR, in an AQPS flat race. But she won so impressively and gave the impression she’s a very classy filly.
Empreinte Reconce shares same sire as Defi du Seuil and just like him, both won their AQPS flat in France as a 3yo in a devastating manner.
The difference being,Empreinte Reconce won hers on firm ground. She should handle soft ground too.Very exciting juvenile prospect for season.
Next is Eragon de Chanay, the 3yo ran once in FR over hurdles at Hyeres. The son of Racinger bolted up and created a very a nice impression.
Next is Holiday Winner, the 4yo ran 10 times on flat in FR winning twice. This was her last win which was over 1m 3f:
A new French recruit for Willie Mullins is the mare Holiday Winner, the 4yo was a €110k @InfoArqana purchase. This was her last flat win.
Holiday Winner won this race setting a strong pace from the front, she looks to have stamina & likely to be suited by staying distances in NH
Holiday Winner was purchased for €110k at Arqana by Willie Mullins. Here is what Willie’s bloodstock agent Pierre Boulard said about her:
Next is Laurina, the 4yo ran twice in FR over hurdles for Guillaume Macaire. Having fallen on debut, she then came runner up last time out.
In her last race,Laurina travelled nicely in race and looked like winning it,but she found very little off the bridle to put the race to bed
Hopefully this is down to greenness as it was her first proper race having fallen quite early on debut. One to look out for if thats reason.
Next is Msassa, the 3yo filly ran once in France for Guillaume Macaire, this was over hurdles at Compiegne & she finished a strong staying 4th
Sao has now moved to UK, Sao is also a half brother to Frodon. Based on that, very good chance he’s gone to Ditcheat and with Paul Nicholls.
Next is Stormy Ireland, the 3yo filly ran 4 times in FR.On the flat she came 4th & 2nd and over hurdles she came runner up on both occasions.
On Stormy Ireland’s hurdling debut at Auteuil, she finished a narrow second to the smart Santa Adelia. She looked raw,but showed potential.
In Stormy Ireland’s last race, she looked better in jumping department. She was a strong finishing 2nd,should have won, given questionable
There are a few concerns with Stormy Ireland. Firstly she is a keen runner. Secondly, she might not be the most genuine in a battle.
This might be down to her still being raw. Stormy Ireland has a lot of talent & could be very smart over here, but does have question marks.
Lastly in the thread for the time being is Thounder. The 3yo gelding ran once in FR over hurdles at Nantes, where he finished third in race.
Thounder dictated pace from the front, travelled well & jumped ok. In the finish, jockey gave Thounder a poor ride with little chance to win.
Thounder has now moved to UK,the son of Hurricane Cat still a novice so might not be any reason to rush him this season in juvenile divisionJuly 25, 2017 at 21:15 #1311358
Apple’s Shakira, who’s a 3yo full sister to Apple’s Jade. The filly ran just once in FR and won it very well:
Apple’s Shakira – Vichy 3-Y-O Juvenile Hurdle
This was the exact race Apple’s Jade won 2 years prior, very likely she’ll be campaigned just like her sis in juvenile division over here.
Chante Neige ran with lots of promise on debut, jumped superb(will be a future chaser) & was beaten by 2 smart fillies on day.A top prospect.
Chante Neige has moved to Ireland. Mullins has bought 2 from Macaire fairly recently (Annamix & Burrows Saint),so a chance she’s gone to WM.
Next is Deal d’Estruval, the Macaire trained 4yo ran 3 times in France (all in 2017) over hurdles finishing 4th, 3rd and 2nd last time out.
On bare form, Deal d’Estruval’s French form does not stand out. However, Macaire has a tendency to run his horses early.
Deal d’Estruval did not run as a 3yo in 2016 and only started this year, may suggest the son of Balko is quite backward and needs time.
Delire d’Estruval, has now moved to Ben Pauling and is owned by Munir & Souede.
Desiremoi d’Authie, the 4yo ran once in an AQPS flat race in the provinces. The son of Cachet Noir proved a class apart winning easily
Desiremoi d’Authie now moved to UK,the quality of the field he beat was average, but he won easily and it was only his debut. Could be smart.
Dissavril, the 4yo ran twice in FR,both were AQPS flat races. She finished 4th on debut & 2nd next time out 4 months later
This was Dissavril’s debut in which the daughter of Balko made an encouraging start finishing 4th (purple silks):
In her last race, she ran second to a top prospect who’d have provided a form boost next time out had he sadly not gone wrong at end of race.
Dissavril has now moved to the UK. The daughter of Balko has shown plenty of potential and should improve going jumping, is a nice prospect.July 25, 2017 at 21:24 #1311359
Espoir d’Allen, the 3yo gelding ran once in FR in an AQPS flat and won it.He’s now been bought by JP McManus.
J.P. McManus now has a new French juvenile Espoir d’Allen. The 3yo shares same sire as Defi du Seuil. This was the French AQPS race he won.
Espoir d’Allen won the boys version of the AQPS flat race Empreinte Reconce won at the same meeting. Both of them are sired by Voix du Nord.
It’s not known yet which trainer Espoir d’Allen gone to.He shares very similar profile to Defi du Seuil,so may join him and go to Hobbs too.September 13, 2017 at 23:47 #1317572
I will be hoping dis donc gets a run for Noel Meade on Saturday In the 2mile maiden hurdle. And the mullins ricci horse stays in to make the market.
Dis donc has some nice aqps bumper form that doesn’t put him too far behind my main fancies for the supreme.
Cut the mustard
