Jump season starting up and plan on following Mr. Tizzards horses blindly in an attempt to hopefully not lose too much money before Cheltenham, Aintree & Punchestown in the Spring.

He seems to be expanding quite rapidly up the ranks as a trainer and he does seem to get some good prices come in over the season. No idea if he would of made a profit in these type of races last year, but from memory i doubt you would of lost much. That would be like winning for me, as for sure i would not break even over jumps between now and Cheltenham.

I have started with 2 bets on the other thread and will include them in this one.

Opening bank £500 with £10 win on Ante Post bets in the big Chase races and £5 bets at Declaration stages for the main chases on a Saturday to start with. If i get into a 25% profit before New Year i will increase stakes by the same amount.

No bets under 5/1 Ante Post or otherwise.

    First 2

Sizing Codelco £10 win @ 29.0 Ladbroke Trophy

    Third Intention £10 win @ 14’s Old Roan Chase Lost – 10

Good luck with this Botchy, as you know I follow several from the yard closely too, so there will be every chance I will be cheering on/jinxing many of these along the way, not least Codelco, and I also like Third Intention for Sunday, not ruled him out yet.

Cheers VTC, should be interesting

If i recall from last year he does not have a massive amount of runners for the big races and only runs a couple at most. I think £500 should last to Cheltenham ok, even if i have to back a couple in the odd few races

Yeah, he’ll rarely swamp the races Botch, but he just might have to change tack slightly this term. Seems to have even more at his disposal this year, and a fair old amount of Potts horses, who might have no option but to bump into each other.

I only plan to be on half of them

…wondering if Bryan Cooper will still be riding for Potts by the end of the season? Sizing Tennessee was going very well when he came down today.

No winners yet but they seem to be going off at good prices and running well overall. Quite certain they will have a good run at some point.
