I don’t play in-running myself but I do get a bit of entertainment post race checking what prices winners and losers were matched at.
In the 4.20 there was £2,000,100 matched. £1,834,000 of it on the fav Dawn Sky at some rediculous prices. The majority between 1.2 and 1.4.
Needless to say after being about 8ls(at least) in front entering the final furlong he was nabbed and well beaten. I swear I could hear the screams.
Crazy stuff. 😮 😮 😮 😮

Most of the money wouldn’t have been in-running though would it? The favourite’s SP was around 1/3 (1.33 decimal) and the sums involved would be mostly people trading positions at 0.01 of decimal places.

Sorry dj I should have pointed that out.
When I mentioned those figures I was talking about the totals matched on the whole event. I don’t know how you can find out what percentage of the figures were in running. But anyone who seen the race and the way it unfolded wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of it was inplay.
And for someone to trade off at 0.01 would someone not have to be backing at that price?
